Educate Yourself About Your Child

The adoption agency my have you take an on-line course or two to prepare you for your child. No course is going to be able to predict the demeanour and behaviour of your child. We have taken a couple courses and at the very least they may prepare you for the worse possible case. We pray that in no way will our child have been subjected to the horrors that they have portrayed.

We have been doing some reading of our own. The books listed here are just what is in our library. I am not sure that even these are totally helpful. I think at best there are little nuggets of information that will help us once we get our child. At worse that have killed a few hours of time n the evening. There are listed in no particular order – they just fell off the shelf in this order
