I checked it about 9 months ago for India and just the other day. It does get updated and has some basic info for the international traveler. I think it is updated once a year unless it becomes a hot spot. If you don't mind a little Big Brother then you can register before you go. This way someone of officialdom will know you are visiting and can send you pertinent info.
